Their website is down and I'm new to this.

Do I d/l the free software on my MacBook and pay a tuner to create a custom map that works hand in hand with Enginuity? So far so good? Then, how do I flash the maps to my WRX? Through a USB cable?

OK, while the software works under OS X, it doesn't work under OS X. I've got a MBP I'm trying to work with and mac support is dodgy at best. Your safest bet is to get VMWare Fusion and run Windows XP so you can use the windows builds of the software. As a mac user, it pains me to say that.

Enginuity for OS X will launch under OS X and allow one ROM to be opened. However, you can't open 2 ROMs to compare them to each other. The logger also does not work.

EcuFlash for OS X works correctly, but getting it to properly detect the presence of the cable is hit-or-miss. Right now, I'm missing. I'm working with a guy who seems to be the guy doing the mac programming for ecuflash trying to resolve the issue, I'll post if it happens.

And yes, you'll plug your car in as a USB peripheral. You'll need a Tactrix cable. Since you haven't bothered to fill in your profile data, I can't tell you which one you need.

To download the software, look at the thread in the forum you posted this in roughly titled "Get Software Here!"
