first i tried searching "stock o2 sensor location" didn't find anything and im too lazy / its wet/cold to go actually look (07 wrx)
question is more specifically is there a pre cat o2 sensor i could plug a wideband in to i don't want to have to rip off the downpipe and drill weld and all that i saw that you can program the lc-1 to act as a narrowband while still reading wideband
thanks for any help

good luck on that one
the front o2 sensor is in the manifold and uses a non grounded system ,hooking a wideband to that one is tough or impossible plus that spot is to HOT for a wideband
putting a wide band in place of the rear o2 i've heard of but post cat ..

Replace the rear O2 with the WB (post CAT) and run the narrow band wire of the LC1 to your narrowband harness. Program the output with LMProgrammer. You'll have to make sure the rest of the harness completes it's power circuit as well.
Or,
Just go to Midas and have them weld the bung in the stock D/P, sandwiched between the two CATS. Thats what I did.

Innovate says to run wbo2 before any cats.
I would assume that running post catalyst would skew the reading.
Wouldnt that cause a lean reading?

It causes a slightly leaner reading yes. Not enough so you cannot tune with it though. It is how all Stage 1 cars are tuned. Post CAT.

ok well that will make it alot easier i just assumed that having the o2 sensor after a cat would really mess things up but ive been schooled lol
how much leaner will it show i guess its good i would rather have it make me think im leaner then i am
gabe did you take your dp off and give it to them or did they do all the work im always very hesitant about anyone getting close to my car lol
would there be any real gain from putting the sensor between the 2 cats like you as opposed to replacing the rear sensor
thanks for the help everyone
