I just have a quick question about these -- Does Subaru still manufacture these headlights, or have they stopped making them? I know that these headlights are pretty rare these days and finding them is becoming harder and harder.

I'm not sure about manufacturing rules in Japan, but in the US they produce parts for 10 years. I know they are readily available from japanparts.

10 years product support is typical for manufacturers in Japan, but many popular models from as far back as the 1980's still have considerable parts support; no problem with the Impreza GC-8 and onwards, plenty still on the road, lots still being raced
