Make sure your connections to the battery are solid. Ground connections should be on unpainted body ground connections or the battery negative. Make sure your plugs to your factory harness is done right. I hear some subarus, you need to switch the wires (ground and hot for the harness).

Do one side and one ballast at a time.

there should be about 3 grounds. one for each ballast and one for the main harness. From what I've seen at least.

somethings loose in your wiring. retighten everything on the drivers side. I bet you its a ground! I just ordered an HID kit myself as well. Waiting impatiently for it to arrive. :)

Who makes your HID kit? I would suggest making sure that the grounds a very clean and make a good contact. I prefer an OEM ballast and lower temp bulbs, but bult temp has nothing to do with your problem.

Just make sure your ground and hot wire are connected well
