I recently had a P0032 CEL that was resolved. I had replaced the sensor with an extra STI one I had in the garage among other things in my effort to fix the CEL. I have a VF34 and pinks running with an OTS map. I logged a run last night and aside from not making boost targets, the AFRs are reading lean (~13.3) but EGTs are well under control and IAM's are 16 throughout. I checked a stock STI map and the O2 sensor scaling is much different. Should I copy over the sensor scalings to the OTS map? Any other ideas? Putting my stock sensor back in might not be an option and a new one is expensive. Thanks.

Try the scaling and see what the Immediate and Learned Trims are at idle. That will minimize your chances of blowing up the car.

The technical paper (PDF) on Denso front O2 sensors showed the scaling for Denso's 2 O2 sensor types.
I believe all O2 sensors show lambda=1 when mA = 0. However, if the curve is wrong, the AFR corrections will swing wildly back and forth due to over or under correction.
Can you post CALID of the roms that you are comparing to so that we can take a look at the differences.

Well, I did it and the car seems to run fine with the new scalings. The current values on the WRX map goes from -13.00 to 10.90 mA, while the STI scale is from -1.30 to .74 mA. Everything still seems under control. I'll log some stuff tonight and speak to some local tuners about it tonight. Thanks all.

Good deal.
Ever since merchgod added the front O2 sensor scalings, I've been thinking about this... (using different front O2 sensors).
