Go post over on Ev8siv3's site. I am sure he would be glad to help you. Other than that there should be no resson for adjusting the WG arm with that map. Did you buy the GMBCS map?

constructive criticism? leave your wg arm alone, and fiddle with your duty cycles.

Ev8sive probably errs on the side of being too conservative, so people don't overboost their cars and blow motors using his product. Cobb does the same, hence the multiple wastegate maps.

Aren't those maps only made for simple mods?

I didn't DL your log cause I felt like responding blindly, but if your not hitting your target across the board you can multiply the entire WGDC table by 1.05 until you do hit max boost, then begin to adjust for individual RPM's.

If your not hitting it at certain RPM's but hitting it at others, add 5% to the RPM's cells your low in until you hit it. Of course, 4th and 5th gear WOT will probably overshoot a bit if you tune your WGDC in 3rd.

Why isn't throttle at 100%?

Not sure, I floored the car. Sitting in my garage with the logger running I can get a max of 88.63. Thats opening the throttle with the car off.

Maybe you were hitting the target boost for the 88% column? Check that throttle cable and see if it has a ton of play at the throttle body and report back.

Throttle issue fixed. New logs are as follows.

Boost jumped quite a bit with only 5% increase across all tables. Im thinking that Ill add another 3% and do another set of logs for 3rd gear.

Logs posted in the first post.

1) As you're using an XPT map, you should post on Braden's section of the OSecu forums. I'm sure he would be willing to help you. IIRC, he doesn't take kindly to other's posting logs of his maps.

2) An '02 should be able to hit between 17-18 PSI in the midrange with the GMBCS. I've found that almost all of the GMBCS's really like to hover around 60-65 WGDC's to hit this type of target boost.

3) I would keep an eye on your injector duty cycles. All of the 02-03's that I've tuned with the GMBCS needed to taper quite quickly at around 5k, in order to not max out the injectors.

Damn! Your (above) post would have been so much help if I had found it just a few days ago! I'm getting my boost for GM BCS pretty close now. Currently Max WGDC is at 62% for midrange. I'm just a bit shy of achieving my target of 17.5psi with that.

You are also right about maxing out the injectors! I'm getting mine up to 99% in the upper RPM's, so I'll have to back the boost off a bit up there.
