So I went to Nyle Maxwell yesterday in Round Rock to visit a friend of mine and they just got a 2006 STi UGM in on their used car lot. I believe its got ~40k miles and it looks SWEET! I don't know the previous owner but It looks he's got AEM gauges, AEM TRU Boost, carbon front lip, rota 18's, turbo timer and that's all I seen. I did notice the "green brackets of death" were missing from top of the injectors and fuel rails...The turbo has never been taken off and neither has the TMIC.. so I don't know what was going on there.

Anyone looking for a used 06 STi that seems to be in pretty good condition needs to go check it out!!! My friend Chris works there as a manager on the used car lot so if you go, ask for Chris and tell him Ryan sent you.. maybe he'll work give you a smoking deal ;)

Well.. They aren't called that because they arent GREEN but... There should be brackets on the car... These injectors were exposed with no brackets covering them...

Unless the 06 doesn't have brackets at all????

I wanna say all STi's don't have them, the sidefeeds just have little metal brackets over them to hold them in connecting them to the fuel rail.

The 06 has side-feeds, so they're more visible. There are brackets, but not like the top-feeds.

I have no idea.. I think they just got it in off of the truck (reason why it was so dirty with shoe polish writing on it).. I just looked and it's not even on their online inventory yet...

It is an Invidia DP.. The tires I think are going to be replaced and the rims were being touched up yesterday while I was there..

Replaced my injectors (06 STi Side feeds) last friday -
There are brackets (passenger side is army od green), but they weren't as much of a pain as I thought they'd be.
The bracket completely blocked the passenger side injector closest to the firewall.
