View Full Version : Logging error ?

On Friday, I logged my car using Enginuity for stage 1, all went well. I leaned out the map a bit with EcuFlash, flashed it, and then proceeded to attempt to log using Enginuity again.

The problem I'm having is that it will connect to the ECU, say "Select parameters" at the bottom, but theres no list of parameters. Also, in the process of connecting, a red message pops up for a fraction of a second. I can only make out "Error" and "null" somewhere in the message because it only appears for so short a time.

Then I flashed the un-touched stage 1 map back on, thinking it was the map. No luck . Do I need to re-install definitions? I'm stumped (EDIT: or stupid?)

Sounds like your logger.xml file is corrupted. I would delete it, download the latest version (0.3.2b), UNZIP the logger.xml file into the same directory.

Thanks Teacup, I had figured that would fix that. Would you happen to know why my file was corrupted? I know I didn't download a corrupt one because I had logged already.

No, it is just a guess. If that doesn't work, then you should uninstall Enginuity completely, re-download, and re-install.
