Nope, I gave up for a while, I went with a different custom intake route (3" piping from TB to stock box with K&N). Was going to use the hood for a custom intake taking from the scoop but others had done it with no gains, so no use for right now.

Buy a used scoop, make a darn template and cut your hood up... All you need is some 8mm-10mm bolts to hold that bish in place and your set.

And steel, just like the trunk... Just like high end Audi's that are aluminum except for the the structural parts of the vehicle, rocker panels, quarter panels, pillars, hood yada yada. The skin is prolly aluminum, but the frame for the hood is steel. Get a magnet, I did and it stuck to certain areas which were steel. :D
