Pity that front end would be awful in a collision. And we need bumpers to pass US safety.

Too damn BIG, I've never been a fan of the 7 series and this seems to dwarf that. I'd like to see this design treatment on a 1 or 3 series sized model.

The profile is all kinds of sexy.

That front end is hideous.

I like. Nice progressive design with an aggressive and squatting stance.

The front end looks somewhat out of place to me. the side profile, belt line and fender lines all look awesome to me, but the back and front ends leave much to be desired IMO. oh, and in the article, they said theyve already teased us with the x6? um... yeah, i think the x6 is ugly

Nearly every mercedes today is hideous. Their high water mark was around 2004 as far as styling goes. Now Lexus does their style better than they did. Mercedes is putting all these awkward creases for the sake of having creases. The new S class and the bizarre rear wheel arches are a prime example of this.

I have to say I hated that concept, and don't like any of the recent BMW designs, except the new 3 series coupe and I guess the M coupe. Perhaps I'm just old school though.

Its too bad the production version will be watered down crap.

Interesting. I see it as a little more retro. The nose reminds me of the BMWs from the 60s & 70s. I guess that's why it's the 'CS' concept.
