They may refund you for the danage in shipping. most companies have insurance for under $100.00 with out paying extra. Anything over the $100 value the charge. Hopefully he insured it for the total valued amount. They just wont refund shipping costs. That may help to something out of the deal. beaviscih 03-16-2008, 07:31 PM how was the packaging?? Packaging was fine. I don't see how the damage could have occurred during shipping. subaru3169 03-16-2008, 10:46 PM Call the shipping company. I have been the shipper and made a claim when a trunk got dropped in shipping, and I have received an exhaust that box that was all F'd up. The UPS guy sat and watched me open the box to make sure everything was ok. He told me before he left if I found out that anything was broken later to call make a claim. I didn't call but he suggesting that I did makes me believe that the receiver can make claims as well. Geoff 03-19-2008, 02:46 AM Let me know how the claim works out so we can close this. beaviscih 03-19-2008, 09:44 PM Let me know how the claim works out so we can close this. Go ahead and close it. I heard back from Paypal and I'll take it from there. While I wish the seller would have stepped up and made things right or at least attempted to do so, there is not much more that can be done. Thanks for the support.;) |
