hey guys i just finished my 02 to 06 conversion and im wiring up the headlights. the bugeyes have dual beam bulbs, so three wires going to the headlight bulb plug. hi, lo, and ground. i just used a test light to determine which wire was which and i have the low beam working perfect. my problem is, when i click the high beam, the low beam turns off. anyone know how i should wire things so the low will stay on when i turn on the high beam? thanks

First, it's not high low and ground. It's common power and switched grounds for low and high.
It is normal in the bugeyes for the lows to turn off when the highs are on, that is how dual-filament bulbs work. To keep them on you may need to add a relay. Also note that the wiring may not be designed to accomodate the additional current of having both beams on at the same time.

ok i figured it out for the most part. i wired the power wire to the hid ballast, and then grounded that to the chassis. then i plan to wire the ground for the high beam to the high beam bulb, and then i just have to find some way to power that. i figure the power can be constant and the ground will only switch on when i flick the high beam, allowing the low to stay on too. anyone have an idea of how i should power it without giving the 9005 bulb too much power?
