I have a avcr and i have a hydra to control the boost through gearing and duty cycle and all that good stuff, do you know if the apexi avcr will still function correctly if i just hook up the power wire and the two grounds and then have it hooked up without wireing the wires to the ECU pinouts...b/c my old greddy prospec BII wansn't hooked up to the ecu just the vacuum lines and such and it worked great....anyone just do it

im not lazy i just don't need the avcr to have all the fuctions other than just a high and low boost setting

i thought i could remember someone telling me that you didn't have to hook it up to the ecu, just along that the power and grounds were hooked up
