I looked at one today, It had some rust on the rear qrt panels. The rust on the right side(passengerside) went through to the jack storage area. There are no dents in the body and looks like it hasnt been in any crunches. The blower motor for the heater doesnt work. It has electric windows, all work. The battery was dead,it has been sitting for the last couple of months. It may need a couple of tires but thats no big deal. All the lighs work and it started right up when I jumped started it. The interior is in ok shape. It is front wheel drive and looks ok. I am looking for another car to keep the miles off my RS, and I want to learn how to work on cars. The only worry I have is the rust. Oh I almost forgot the CV joint on the rightside is starting to go. The main question I have is what would be a fair price to offer and should I worry about the rust...? She put it in the paper for $995.00 If you XT guys have any ideas please let me know, or if you have any ideas and are more inclined to know about this kind of stuff please post. Thanks..
