I was wondering if anyone knows where I could screw temperature and oil sender units into the engine block?

Are you talking about oil pressure sender and oil temperature sender?

You can screw in the oil pressure sender under the alternator. See here: http://www.geocities.com/matsut_rpi00/autometer.html

You can weld in the oil temperature sender to the oil pan for the accurate temperature. However, I don't see why you can't use the same hole as the oil pressure sender to pick up oil temp. I guess it won't be as accurate.

ahh... thank you, I meant oil pressure (which I now know) and water temperature. So does any one know where the water temp sensor would go?

FWIW, RalliSpec installed a water temperature sensor in the return "piping" which runs on top of the block, under the intake runners. Don't know if it's worth all the work for you, but mine was already apart, so installation was fairly easy for them.
