rhinotech 03-05-2008, 06:29 PM easy on the name there RYNO..... :p
I have an 07 SWP STi, but not limited.
I figure everything is for sale for the right price.. so.. I'll ask $37k as the car sits.. 8k miles on the car and about $7k in modifications. Compression AND leak down tested and everything is 100% perfect.
It was the last one in Texas on a lot.. (so the dealer said..)
Anyway, It's got some tasteful upgrades..
If your buddy is interested tell him to PM me
rhino
ahh hell I guess I could add some pics ;)

Charging more that MSRP of the car when it was new. Asinine, yes....funny, to an extent.

Zspectrum 03-06-2008, 04:10 AM 2007 sti in swp not limited, 26k for it stock 27k on the clock
biker921 05-08-2008, 01:55 AM I'm in the market for an 06-07 STi and/or Limited too
GlennB 05-08-2008, 10:08 AM i'm pretty sure his friend is wanting the interior of the limited so i doubt your sti's are gonna do the trick. nice cars tho!
roadtalontsi 05-08-2008, 11:36 AM 36K$ Haha. looks like sti's are going to go up in value, like supras and rx7's lol. This could happen if people keep selling there sti's for no less then 25g's w/ high mileage. Or just not sell there sti in general.

Yeah...I want one that doesn't seem to be growing in price (36k-47k). Cars are meant to depreciate.

i put a lot of racing upgrades on the motor. she has to have at least 500 horses.
SubaruRSTi 05-08-2008, 12:51 PM Pro Tip: Mods make the car worth LESS than original price not worth more.
MarkRx 05-08-2008, 01:01 PM depends on the mod, but in general i agree. i'd rather have a stock motor with some other tasteful mods. Once you get into porting, sleeving, and other internal engine mods i tend to get leary, no matter who does the work or how good they say it is.
nxttruck2002 05-08-2008, 01:11 PM da mods i have are very rare (a la JDM) i overnights all the parts from japan. my car has the same motor as that blue rally car.
texas05sti 05-08-2008, 03:37 PM Pro Tip: Mods make the car worth LESS than original price not worth more.
Incorrect. I could sell my car as it sits for more than I paid for it. I would lose money on the cost of the mods, but I would make money on the car.
Go back to class now, you're gonna get a tardy.

You're both right.
As far as a dealer is concerned, you touch the car, you loose money.
On the other side, you CAN get more money for mods if the buyer likes them, otherwise they think of the PITA they have to go through to remove them. It's a buyers opinion thing :disco:

Fixed..
dukenukem 05-08-2008, 06:46 PM I believe there was a shop selling a full leather interior for the sti. I believe it was $2000 for the who shabang ?
MarkRx 05-08-2008, 07:27 PM you can get jdm anything from japanparts.com.
the super rare jdm 12-spokes now come standard on the usdm forester sports edition.
I'm not going to touch my vette, but if i were to do it all over again i'd look at the new bmw 3 series and let the modding begin!
pjo42387 05-08-2008, 11:01 PM 36k+ for a four door subaru with a turbo?
