Does anybody know the intake/exhaust port size on them?

Does any of those threads have the actual measurement for the ej20g(HLA) head ports in mm?

If I am correct....the EG20G heads all had the same intake port inlet size. The only difference are the valve guide support of the EARLY heads and that later EJ20G heads that doens't have the valve guide support.

The early-variation had a THICKER splitter. This applied to the EJ20G heads. The EJ20K heads seems to had a skinnier splitter like the USDM 2.5L DOHC heads and the EJ207+.

Also take note that the ports WIDEN on the sides of the D-style ports. You can feel this whe you slide your finger in and over the sides of the ports.

I don't know if that helps. There is a local Legacy Owner who has a EARLY variation EJ20G head with clover style combustion chamber, HLA valvtrain head. I can ask him to make measurements.

I've got some 1989 Ej20D heads that I have been meaning to add to that thread. They should be the same as the other 1st gen Legacy Ej20 heads. I am also about to take delivery of a v1 STi. That should be another hand ported engine. I will add that to the thread when I get it...
