I've tried the 0-60 out and the 1/4 mile. It doesn't seem right. Is there a certain process that allows for more accurate readings?

Is there a certain process that allows for more accurate readings? a6n6d6y 03-05-2008, 10:31 PM why do you think "It doesn't seem right" is it not reading as fast as you thought you were what does it tell you ? I have to assume your talking about the AP v2 performance stuff B-RAD_STI 03-06-2008, 04:37 AM Yeah im talking about the V.2 I think it was too fast, 1.4 60' yeah right i couldn't pull a time like that in any car. Sometimes i just don't think it's even close. Quick 60' like that 1.4 with 6 second 0-60. I just don't think it's realistic. Is there a certain way you can drive while your doing these tests so the ap will give you more accurate readings? I'm doing a 0-60 from a complete stop when i perform the test. a6n6d6y 03-06-2008, 02:51 PM no wheelspin is mandatory with v2 performance mesurements as it uses Vehical Speed Sensors for distance and speed just think how fast it would read if your car was on jack stands Parker @ COBB 03-06-2008, 03:34 PM Make sure you are using current firmware. I believe a couple cahnges have been made since the first estimator was released. Just keep in mind the Accessport isn't a timing light, it is calculating based on sensor input. If you have wheel/tire diameters that are diffirint than stock you will also lose accuracy. B-RAD_STI 03-06-2008, 03:49 PM Thanks guys! I'll check the firmware, and try it out again. ftnjun2x 03-07-2008, 11:21 AM I clocked at 1.27sec 60' last night(freakin' impossible hehehe). shakur45 03-12-2008, 01:02 AM I just did my first "run" ever on my new ap.... 60ft was 2.4 and 0 to 60 5.665? And I forgot to turn off the VDC. Seems about right for the road conditions I guess  |
