Now that I'm in charge of Project $15K, Lets Get Rockin'!
Lets Start with the Rear Sway Bar. When we picked up Project $15k from the last owner it already had a Brand-X 22mm Rear Sway bar with three holes of adjustability. PERRIN Performance does make a bar of this size but for the sake of the BUDGET I will keep the bar. Keeping the bar did not mean there was no work to be done...........
One, the OEM endlinks where having a hard time with this larger than stock bar, notice the rubber bushing being pulled/pushed out! And it's just flexy plastic.

Two, the OEM bar mounts are a little weak for a bar this large so we replaced both. When doing this we found the sway bar bushings to be a "little" worn (or VERY worn  see the cracks!) So we replaced those also.

Comparing the old Vs. New bushings (guess what one is the new one)

On a car with about 110k miles you have to use a little penetrating lube from time to time.

New PERRIN endlinks installed. (See, they do work with other brands of aftermarket swaybars! any one that says otherwise is full of POO )

PERRIN Swaybar Mount installed with new bushings on Brand-X bar.
