i think the Kelvin temp on these are 30,000K but it looks pretty good. Wondering if anyone has done this on their Suby? and is it bad to have this high of temp?

My friend did a 24,000 and he said that he got pulled over all the time for it. He said the color was way too blue/green and everyone noticed it.
apparently they are DOT compliant but it seems mass bright

If there was any sort of dampness on the road, your headlights would look like they weren't even on. So yes, it is bad to have that kind of temp. There's a reason why most (if not all) manufacturer HIDs in cars are around the 4100-4300K temp.

You building a gay pride Impreza?
Anyway, as has already been point out, those would be TERRIBLE to drive by. There're just a massively intense emissions spike in the near-violet and a weaker one up in the reds. You're not going to have any color or contrast to help you figure out what's the road an what's the ditch (or the kid in the road). Anything other than a non-street-driven carpet queen and you'll hate those.

With a 30,000 K burn temp the light output of those lights would probably be less than a mid 1800's lantern. Also, I HIGHLY doubt that they are DOT compliant.
Like everyone else said, don't do it...

Tee hee, you wouldn't be able to see anything with those!
I could see someone doing that to their foglights just for fun but if you actually expect to be able to drive with those as your main lights you got another thing coming.

One of the concepts behind HIDs is to have whiter light, which will better illuminate the road. These are the exact opposite of that.
well that settles that haha. thanks everyone for the input
