A while back I picked up one of those JDM intercooler spray switches for my 2004 STi. To install it, I simply removed the USDM switch and replaced it with the new one. The switch works fine, except that the indicator light does not come on when it is depressed. The switch does light up when the headlights are on, but again, no indicator light if it is depressed. Should I have installed it differently; are there 2 wires I need to jump; is the switch defective?

probably just the bulb in the switch, if it works correctly...
