A friend of mine told me that when you buy a WRX you get a free SCCA membership for one year is there any truth to this? If so how do I go about getting it? Thank in advance for any info. Wayne 002 WRX

Totally and absolutely true. There should be a form in the glovebox to fill out and send in. (This is also on subaru's website)

If not, then you can call the Subaru Customer service number from Subaru's website and they'll take down the necessary information.

I had to call Subaru customer service to get my form processing started.

yup you get a free membership. not only that, but when you sign up you get free sample issues of a bunch of magazines (and sometimes catalogs). only gotten a few so far, but man, have i been missing out. that grassroots magazine is pretty good.

I was able to download an SCCA membership form from either the SCCA website or the my subaru website.

I faxed the application in and received my membership within a week and a half.

I'm glad I waited this this year to redeem my membership. I'll make better use out of it this year.

The membership should be in With your owners manual, Warranty stuff and WRX options...its part of the Delivery process..in your folder
