Can someone confirm with confidence that after you install this kit, and using the p6 ecu that's pre-programmed that you will be able to just daily drive and enjoy and everything will work great, like it's advertised?
It sounds too good to be true

PP6 you mean? It's not an ecu, it's a piggyback. make sure it has the 5th injector and the latest software to control it. Problem with the PP6 and FI is that it can't control all 4 injectors well enough to evenly distribute fuel, some of the early ones had lean conditions running in one or two cylinders. (correct me if I'm wrong here, it's been a while since I read up on the specifics)
AVO kits use LINK standalone EM usually though. That has it's own set of problems, mainly concerning the trigger wheel for timing or something (again, it's been a while since I read up on what the LINK needs), it's not the same for the Phase II as the Phase I engine with which the original LINK EM was designed to work with on the AVO turbo kit.
Basically if you ever want to turbo kit your Phase II, spend the $$ on the engine management. This is where half-assing it can lead to problems, and lot of sob stories about how turbo kits in general are unreliable.
Go to the Aftermarket turbo forum for more info on any of these. This is the wrong forum for it.

it seems relevant to mention xcceleration.com here. they sell the complete AVO turbo conversion kit. i have asked them tons of questions and once they tune it, it is ready to go. depending how the car reacts tells which parts need to be added, tweaked, or switched. i am most likely going to use this kit when i convert my car.
