Hi,
i have a problem *think*
I am from Germany, where the 2004 STi still has an EJ20 2.0liter Block

My new 2.5 Cosworth block is nearly ready to be installed, but i heard, that the stock 2.0 or 2.5 ignition or spark coils are not strong enough at higer and permanent rpm i would get misfiring what could destroy even a cosworth block :furious:

So i need some stronger - where can i get them ?

Thanks in advance...

why not just use stock with an HKS ignition box to boost ignition strength?

your looking at a not very beaten path from all I've seen...not too many people look into upgrading their system and I'm not sure why.
those who have will typically run an HKS system or an AEM twin-fire...there are two companies who sell upgraded coil packs specifically for our engines though. Okada and someone else.

Do you know the shop for that ?

Thanks a lot...
