Like the title says...
What are the lightest rods and pistons avail for the EJ257. Was looking around but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

well, I will put money that you won't find them on a manufacturers shelf...
i.e. my 4" bore pistons weigh in at 408 grams made from JE 2618 slugs and there is still weight to remove ;)
wiseco's have the lightest forging, whether you find that good or bad though...
I've still only made bomb proof pauter rods so, those are going to be the lightest by a long shot. Still need to order my lightweight rods (two different ones) to see what they come out as.

for the lazy:
Ive decided to buy some Mahle pistons for my STi. not cause i have to....yet   . But i prolly will sometime. Ive gathered some info on these pistons. I specifically wanted piston/pin weights for my own pleasure and thought i would share them w/ all you. check out my other thread from awhile back: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=964607&highlight=piston+dish+comparison
Some info taken from: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=630797&highlight=Sti+piston+dish
Some info taken from their websites and/or emails recieved from them:
Stock STi:
piston weight: 414 grams
pin weight: 152 grams

If you want some aluminum rods shoot me a PM/e-mail. ;) They won't last as long as Carrillo H-Beams etc. but you asked for lightweight...
