I did a search couldn't find anything. over the past 5 months or so my headlights keep going out (one or the other) I was buying 2 at a time got tired of that so i just get one now but i'v probly bought 3 pair and 5 single lights so far. I'v tryed stock, silverstars, and hellas all the same. any ideas

There may be a problem with the regulator in the alternator or some of the diodes in it are bad and causing this problem. Check the voltage at the battery using a digital meter while revving the engine to around 2,000 RPM. You shouldn't have more than 14.8 volts DC at the battery. Also check the AC voltage there and make sure that the voltage is less than 0.2 volts AC. If you find voltages that are greater then you will need to repair the alternator.
