OK, so I installed my VF39, uppipe, SSAC IC, and have an AP with the stage 2 map.
Notice that the injectors (pink) are missing, because I bought some 04 sti stockers thinking they would work:mad: they are sidefeed, I am an idiot.

ANYWAY, my question is, CAN I RUN STAGE 2 MAP with the VF39 for this week without destroying my car's engine?
I need it to go 5 miles to school and 5 miles back.

will the boost controller control my boost and I will not have problems for this week at least? or will it have detonation or pre-ignition problems?

ANY INPUT HELPS

thanks guys!

Don't drive the car hard whatever you do.

Personally I would use your acessport and put it in valet mode which should limit the boost to 8lbs and lower the rev limiter. If you have to drive the car, drive it really easy and try to avoid boost and it should be ok for a week.

I'm ordering 565cc from Deautshworks or hoping someone sells me some Pinks on the forums by Monday. I should have it running by Thursday.

Should I just avoid driving it or will I be okay if I stay off the gas?

Like said, attempt to keep your car in vacuum, or at least set the boost cutoff to 7psi (valet mode, economy mode) and drive gently until you can get those injectors in. After that, obviously itll be smooth sailing on the vf39 map til you can get a protune. Definitely dont run the stage 2 map at this point thou, since you are likely to cause damage without realizing it. The safety net of the low boost maps will help you make it thru the next week.

unfortunately you are just asking for trouble without the proper injectors, just be careful.

You should do as these guys have said, take it easy.

That being said a friend of mine was running a vf39, on stock wrx injectors, and with no em. For I'd say abotu 2 years. car made 238hp and he beat the hell out of it. With no adverse results. We found out he had a vf39 on there when we went to fix the exhaust leak.

^^ Those injectors will work find under 4000 RPMs lol

I know a guy running a TD-04 at 25 psi with 280 cams with stock injectors and no tune. It does not make it a good idea.

Yeah..my ford runs a 9.6 in the 1/4 with a big turbo and is only tuned with a carb!

They are the same mods he has But like I said..he should take it easy.
