Hey guys I talked to turbochargers.com about upgrading my Green and they told me they could switch the compressor housing to a GT35.. Has anyone had experience with this setup on an STI?? And what does this frankenstien setup make for power? Thanks for your help..

Would it not be just like the fpred?

it sounds liked the hotsise would really limit the potential of the compressor.

Well its a simple 150 upgrade so if i gain a little a maybe worth it.

What are you looking to do with the car?

The green is a great turbo. A 35R is a whole other beast.

Check the GT52 or GT49 Element Tuning turbos out.

Well I just sent the turbo out to turbochargers.com to get rebuilt and asked if it was possible to upgrade it at all and thats what Harry suggested. I wasnt planning to get to crazy here but if this realatively cheap upgrade makes a little more power than its worth it.

Your most likley going to get a gt61 compressor wheel, it will have to be machined to the mitsu housing, with a 3" inlet.

It is basicly a RED, I hope you have a 8cm2 hotside !!
