02 wrx swapped in 04 sti block with new wrx heads. problem no spark. my crank gear is the 28 tooth wrx one, my timing is on, changed the spark plugs, changed the coil packs, and swapped a working intake (wiring harness), swapped computers, brand new crank shafts sensor and brand new cam shaft sensor. No broken fuses, checked all grounds. I can get the car to turn over but it does not fire due to no spark. I have competent help but we are stumped. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How are you testing for spark? Got a scope? Can you watch the cam and crank signals?

Is it picking up RPM through the ECU? Check with a OBDII scanner or alike. CEL codes? correct cam gear?

to brydon. thnx 4 reply i dont know if it is picking up rpm i will check after i get off work. no cel codes except a pending cam shaft sensor that stayed cleared after i used a scanner. i had the heads done at a head shop and so i just kept them in that order (cam gears).
