I have an 08 with nav. I've had an issue with the radio 2x and the fuel gauge 1x and was wondering if anyone had heard of this as an issue. I think it's too intermittent to expect the dealer to figure out? THe problem was when I started the car the stereo was staticy, independent of station or mode (sat, cd, radio). When I turned the car off then restarted it, the static went away. For the fuel gauge, while driving with 3/4 tank, the fuel gauge went to completely empty with the fuel light on. THen after ~10 minutes to ~1/4 tank, then normal. ~15 min. later same cycle. Any ideas or should I wait to see if it's a real problem?:confused:

Since you state that the static happens in the CD mode and the radio mode the problem is most likely in the radio unit itself. You may be able to flush the gremlin out by tapping around the radio.

For the fuel gauge problem I would suspect there is a connection problem at the sensor end of the wiring. Cleaning the connector may solve the trouble.
