Hi, I have the original recirc valve off of my EJ20g, and one off of a '04 wrx, and am using an '04 wrx intercooler. The '04 valve won't fit on the intercooler due to space restraints in my beetle, but I wouldn't mind making a flange for it to put it somewhere else. So.. Is there any reason to use the newer valve? I ask simply because it would be much easier to use the old one but I don't want to if its gonna leak boost and such. ~15psi of boost. Anyone using their original valve with more boost (td05-16g) ? Thanks

You should be fine with your early valve. MRT rates that stock valve up to 20psi. 15psi isn't much at all...
