traser 03-15-2008, 05:52 PM so i just installed my cobb down pipe, now i have, cobb down pipe, tanabe cat back, 65mil aps intake, and hks bov. i also installed aem wide band,,
AT idle the car is giveing me 14.8, which i suppose is proper, but at wot it goes all the way to 10.5, and i think that is to lean? is this ok or what do u guys suppose i do>?
aboothman 03-15-2008, 06:00 PM Where is your wideband installed at, DP or after the exhaust?
As far as I know, that is an average AFR, maybe a bit rich. It also depends on timing, and the fuel octane/quality you are using. Watch your IDCs as well...
The Cobb maps are conservative and intended for a wide range of setups, so they are meant to be safe.

10.5 lean?? No way dude, 20 is lean 10.5 is rich. if u go 9.0's then ur going super rich. im at Stage2 with a Protune from Top Speed. at 3rd gear around 3,000 rpm with WOT i'm getting 11.0's slowing going down to 10.5's as i keep it at WOT.
shakur45 03-15-2008, 09:19 PM ^^ I have Stage 1 and also show 11 at WOT, Perrin tune :)
traser 03-15-2008, 10:44 PM cool ya i got it backwards sorry... but ya 91 octane, shell gas, its a cobb down pipe, so its about an 1-2" after the t-BO
