Hi guys,

Will the SPT Axle-Back exhaust mate up to a 3" mid pipe that TAPERS DOWN to 2.5"?

I basically want to confirm that this midpipe:

Will work with the SPT axle-back exhaust. And yes, I know the SPT is generally sold as a cat-back.

Nah, I'm the buyer of his exhaust... :p If I was the same person, why would it have 2 different cars, locations, join dates, etc. etc. etc.

We're trying to make sure both of our configurations will work...do you have any input on our question?

I have that tapering midpipe and genome exhaust, I believe sells as a 'SPT STi performance exhaust', works great.

That's wonderful that it works great. That's like answering the question "Hey, do you know what time it is?" with "Yea, I play soccer on Sundays and Tuesdays".

However, we figured it out. The SPT axleback (3") will not mate up to the Daddy's tapered 2.5" midpipe. The same goes for trying to mate the SPT catback to a 3" performance downpipe.

However....the actual bosal exhaust...not the rebranded spt made by bosal is a full 3"...so the buyer could just wait to install the axleback until he picks up the bosal midpipe and his downpipe:p
