Always thought it would be cool to have a thread where we could use as a local hookup directory. Would be even cooler if lots of people signed up and DLC made this a sticky. For example, state your name, where you work, and how you can hook people up. It would be a good way for us to help each other out, keep in contact, and give eachother discounts. I know Jason at Discount is always super helpful when he can be at discount-tire. Why not give him some business and he'll take care of you in return.

Does anyone have a hookup in the garage/storage unit area? I have one more car than I have garage spots and don't like to have one sitting outside. On the other hand, I am not happy about paying a bunch for a storage unit. I need at least a 10x15 space.

Who is your carrier for the 8310, ATT? If it is ATT no go on VZW as ATT=GSM and VZW=CDMA. Different technologies. The only Verizon BB to work on the GSM network is an 8830 World Edition with the use of a Global Support SIM card.

you can go 5 on the backs, and then go like 10 or 15 on the fronts, you can't actually tint your windshield, you can get a tint strip but that's it

Hiya, my little brother picks up cars at dealer auction for people on consignment from time to time (maybe once a month). He usually is able to pick them up for about trade-in value, so if you have any requests, he can hit up the dealer auction.

Pretty much any car you want will show up within a couple of weeks, it's cheaper than buying private party, and they're always CarFaxed for clean title and history.

Roger that. Paul (JokerDMX) looked at it for awhile @ TT and we couldnt come up with anything solid.

i think that noise could possibly be a pulley of some sort maybe for the timing belt? could it be the alternator?

Covers were taken off and I tried to spray the tensioners/pulleys for the timing belt with no change.

Ran car with no acessories (PS, Alt, AC) and still had the same sound.

Car has oil...

Just add NOS

If its a squeeking noise I bet it is one of your guide pulleys on the timing belt... Thats what mine was..

^spot on. IMHO lighter tint can look as good/better than super dark. plus, it's one less thing to get hassled for; i hate being hassled!

Going from my Z (which had 20% on the doors) to my sti kinda made me hate driving when the sun is out! I love dark tint on white cars, plus the comfort is worth it too!

I agree. A fairly dark tint on white cars is hawt to me. Which is why I will hopefully be getting it soon :D

Detail jobs are going to be either the local business types, like Bischoffs (which I avoid) or the guy-who-knows-a-guy type.

A lot of the latter, like OCD, are busy taking care of their repeat customers' winter prep right now. I'd say best bet for a good wash and wax would be to try and join notsosimple and oogiesfaded when they do a driveway day. Once you've got the sprayer, clay and products all out for one car, it's that much easier to do two.

Peppe, feel free to join oogies and I when we get together.
