ok so i bought ebay projectors, i like how they look but i really hate projectors, lighting is just horrible

does any one know what projector can i swap them with, i know about that hella 90mm projectors but is there anything other than those, and is there a way to just swap the lens?

no, honestly you cant. i was PISSED when i got mine and they were jacked up like that. i tryed replacing them with hella projectors and it didnt fit, so i sent it back (hella piece) then i put the h3 bulb in the projector housing after dremmeling the housing.... it worked untill the cold rain drizzeled on the lens and broke it. the lights do look good, unfortunately they are a POS !

if you're looking for ebay headlight mods, search for brucewayne on here, he did a crazy retrofit (and a lot of fabrication too) if you're up for it

its not worth trying to improve ebay headlights. they suck

if you want good lightting try this with your stock housings. costs roughly 400 bucks, and isnt toooo hard to do

You can't polish a turd. No matter what you do with those Ebay lights they are still crap.

yeah you can't polish a turd. i got the ebay lights, had them painted to match the WR Blue, and the turn signal part dark tinted - they look cool (well, better than oem bugeye), but the lighting is absolute crap. brucewayne's mod looks cool, but as you can see at the end of his thread, he's putting in hellas because the lighting on these sucks. i wish i had read this thread before ordering. :mad:

thinking of doing jdubya301's mod with the fx35 lights, but that looks more expensive and would eliminate any backup lights... grrr... wish the morettes were still around!

do the fx35s. you will thank yourself every time it is dark out.
