Please read whole paragraph, it has pertinent information as well as a question. Thanks.

Hey Guys,

I just purchased a set of Prodrive UK300 lights. These are not the Triplus, but genuine Prodrive from the UK. They came with all Hella optics, and Hella Hid D2S. I installed them yesterday afternoon, and waited until dark to aim the lights. Saying I'm disappointed with the aiming and distance of the light is an understatement. The leveling motor is not hooked up(no harness or switch) so I took each headlight cluster off and one at a time slowly turned the adjustment screws evenly on each projector. Then I'd put it back on and then re-adjust. I went through the entire range of adjustment for the left and right screw, and I can't get the drivers side projector to shine more than 25 ft in front of the car, plus there is no light off to the left side of the car(no width). The passenger side projector shines off to the right and way up in the air. Now what the hell am I doing wrong, I've aimed headlights before, but never projectors. I can't get my cutoff pattern to look anything like pictures on this site, plus they seem to be way out of whack, plus I'm not getting any distance. The guy I bought them from purchased them painted in WRB from a rally school in Tenessee, but had them repainted black when brought home to Toronto...... could they have messed something up when disassembling the lights for paint? Please help. Rick

Were they fiitted with actual Hella D2S modules or was it a DIY HID conversion of the original projector modules?

Are they set up correctly for LHD?

This page may help. Good luck.

I believe they came with actual hella D2S modules. Because the kit came straight from Prodrive with The HID.

Can you post pictures of your light output against a wall or something? That would help a lot. If you can post pics of the rear of your headlight that would help as well.

They might just be the regular halogen projectors with D2S adapters to accommodate D2S bulbs. Like I said, pictures would help a lot.

I'll take some pictures later today, but I have no Idea how to post them. Would you like me to email them to you, so you could post them?

having had these lights they can suck to aim right :D i also had the real lights, but they don't come with HIDs, only H7 halogen bulbs. most likely yours are just using H7 adapters. now these are fine, and you will get great output. if you want to go a step further you can get the HID versions for not too much money.
once you get the pics up we can figure out what you have. when put back together you might not have clipped in the adjustment clips in all the way.
if that above url doesn't work out for you, send them to me at paranoid56 @ gmail . com and i can host them.
