I only got to use it for a couple days and later removed because it did not fit well with my front lip. just have the bar but i might be able to get the hardware back from the new owner of the car later. With all the hardware i will sell the bar for $200 plus shipping, but if the shipping is not too bad i will pay it. It fits 02-03 for sure but i am not positive about other models. Plus for another 50 i will give you Hella FF1000 in mint condition.

ff1000 do not fit under the bar, but PIAA and Hella 500 do.

it does not fit well with the lip, but fits great without it.

What lip is that? Where are the mount points for the bar? Are there mounting tabs for lights on the bottom and the top of the bar, or just one or the other? Can you take a bunch of pics of the bar off the car?

Taras

the mounting points are bough at the top and bottom of the bar. The mounting points are right under the bumper. The mounting if quite sofistocated but very stotrong and not hard to do. I will take more pics.

Bump for an awesome product! Just installed one on my 05 WRX with PIAA 520 lights, easy to install and looks great, especially for those attempting to find an alternative look to the ground effects and lip kits. Brand new with shipping is 269, great price here!

Thanks for nice comments. I want this thing gone. So I will do 270 shipped for the bar and the lights at the moment. However Pm and we can talk about the price. I would rather do a pick up, so if you live close or with in an hour or two drive we can meet halfway.

Bump for more pics like requested. The two extensions on the mounting points are not a part of the bar and very only used for my application so i will take them off before shipping the bar.

Is that sturdy with only two mount points for the bar? Do the lamps bounce around on that small L bracket?

man wish I saw this offer 1 month ago, bought an 04-05 light bar to fit my 02 bugeye, so I had to fabricate the metal plates to fit the bar on my car, this is a great deal, I got my rusty light bar for 260 with hella 500, best deal I've seen bump bump bump

They did bounce a bit on my car, but that was because i had to use extenders that i made out of crappy thin metal. I doubt they will bounce if you just use it as it should be and the light would for sure not bounce if you mount them where the license plate is on the bottom portion of the light bar.

Thanks, Taras

new they are $239+ shipping. They contact me about buying one monthly since I have inquired. I have asked about buying a blem without a response back.

you need to get those rusty extensions off that bar and make sure the lightbar has not begun to rust. If it did then you have contaminated the lightbar's steel with rust and it will rust underneath the powdercoat and eventually cause it to crack and flake off.

Let me know if the rust is on the lightbar or not. If it is, I retract my offer. I'll just buy new and avoid future hassles.

If you attach the light bar correctly, it dosent move very much. I would expect that having the lights mounted on top where it is less stable makes it bounce more. I have my 520's mounted in the middle, and it moves very little. The rusted brackets are the one piece that holds the bar in place on the frame, so you need those. I'll try and get a picture of mine to post here if anyone wants to see another one.

The rust in the pics looks like its from the car, not the bar......

You bought the wrong application then. They make a bar and skid combo for the 02-03 wrx. If you specifically wanted the 05 one, then its no wonder you had to fab the pieces.

he rusty brakets don't even come with the bar. No rust on thebbar at all. And its steel anyway. Over time the powdercoat might flake off anyway.
There is someone interested in the combo right now so I will let everyone know if the deal falls through.

if the powdercoating is done correctly, it will last as long as the car. Only point I see of ANY concern would be the place the lights mount. (would allow water into the inside of the tubing thus rusting inside out.)

So wait... Taras.... you bought the light bar, and it didnt come with the mounting bar and hardware, just the bar itself? The one i got from Rallysportdirect.com came with the mounting bar and all hardware for 239.00 granted shipping is 30 bucks. It might not fit your car that well because your supposed to have a flat steel bar that mounts up to the frame, and the light bar mounts to that flat steel bar and allows you to stick the actualy light bar further away from the bumper, plus gives added support.....

Taras

ok, I got all the hardware for the bar.

wow, thats a good deal you got. I bought mine for i think 279 shipped and that was with a good discount.

OK so the price is 250 with lights and it depends on the shipping price, if it is pretty cheap i will pay for it or i can split it with the person who buys it.

Now i have all the hardware and all the stuff.

I like that but I would like mine more to the center slightly. Holes just drilled in the tubing or did they add any type of threaded inserts ?

Threaded inserts.

They are threaded, both the top holes and the bottom holes where my lights are, and come with the bolts to hold the lights on, so no guessing the size or anything. Im thinking of taking the decal on the bar off, it came that way... we'll see.
