I am looking into putting on a FMIC and an intake to go with it. I've heard that you have to use a short ram intake when you go to a front mount, but I have seen some CAI's on a few cars with a FIMC. Any advice?

i would suggest a very short cai.

What kind of analogy is this? Tried breathing through a straw thats the same diameter or bigger than your open mouth? You will find that in that case there is no restriction
