I picked it up through my local parts guy, hes going to be getting vendor status on here soon under "boostedtechnology" the engine(long block)/tranny/tranny accessories/axles/rear diff/ brembo with hubs, only cost me 8940 shipped, the shipping was around 500 or so. The turbo kit was like 2650 i think... its a gt3076r full perrin kit and the FMIC was like 850 for the full kit.

Going to go out today and do some spray painting of the head liner and the a,b,c pillars in black ill post up some pics when im finished

sorry took me so long to post these up, had to do about 4 coats and some sanding in between on the pillars and the head liner took 3 cans of the fabric spray :lol: but they came out looking SWEET

Wow man awesome swap, any updates?

Yea, sorry just got a new job so ive been running around, got the STI interior mostly installed now. I have a small problem with the plastic pieces that cover up the seat bolts tho, they dont seem to match up? Can anyone shed some light on this? are 04 sti ones different than 03 wrx? if so ill just go order some but they are very off from what I can tell. ill take some pics later on.

- another problem im having is the piece for the seat belt that is actually around the belt itself and the bolt goes thru this peice to attatch to the side of the car, are there any black ones of these or has anyone found a way to make these black?

So here is a couple problems... the lovely door cars millenium auto sold me have a broken clip for the screw that goes into the trash thing on the door.... sigh.. also anyone have any ideas on how to get this tan seat belt piece covered up or changed to black? added a couple install pics too everything is a little dirty due to the lbs of pollen in the air around my house, you can see some of ti floating in front of the camera is so bad.

just ordered some clips for my head liner to replace the oh **** handles as i dont feel like painting these... another thing i need to figure out is what to do with the sun visors... any have any idea on those to get them black?

UPDATE---

So everything in the engine bay is out except the engine, that will be coming out tomorrow morning. Ill post up some pics after we are finished tomorrow... I noticed that my front end has a little damage to the front bumper support so I will need to get that fixed before we go too much further.

does the ej207 wiring wire up to the 03 wrx?

yea acctually very simple to do it because the v7 sti engine from japan came from a bugeye they used mass manufacturing in the harness on the chassis. All that needs to be changed for wiring is the stuff for the AVCS which is fairly simple, a few wires come from inside the cabin under the passenger foot kick plate where the ECU is to both sides of the engine bay, a couple wires to the grey plug fixed near the boost solenoid on the passenger side engine bay. The others are routed to the opposite side to the black plug i believe it is, which is the same style and size of the plug on the other side just another color, this is located next to a similar brown plug and sits kinda inbetween the battery and washer fluid tank.

keep in mind this is all on the assumption that a engine wiring harness is used from the EJ207

damn I wish I had 15gs laying around to sti swap. How do you people afford these things and not go broke? Props to you for doing exactly what I and many others have been wanting to do for longtime.

if its anything like a EJ20R you'll find 207 stamped on the underside of the heads possibly. mine has 20R with EJ20 stamped up top of the block
