paypal usually won't help you much, they just do the bare minimum
always use credit card so even if paypal won't help you, you can always call your cc company and do a chargeback. not sure how it works on debit/check cards...

Yeah not sure either, my friend just told me about the whole credit card thing. Paypal said they will only do disputes on products that were damaged in shipping, or the seller said he sent the product and you never received it type of claims

After reading the first few post, I already sence danger. But you went ahead and made the transaction with this "scammer". So that was your mistake. But reciving a product that was advertise as a brand name and you recieved a knock off instread is totally not right, so I'm with you on that. I hate online scammers and have been a victim of one before. But, there is a bright side to this, most scammers don't send even a single item, and leaves there victim at a total lost. At lease in this case, you have something you can sell and make back most of what you lost.

Yeah, I got no luck in trying to get my money back, paypal won't help, he wont answer PMS's. I wish he didn't send it to me, cuz then paypal would have followed up on the case at least and I would have had a chance to get my money back, but since he sent "something" they can't do anything about fraudulent sellers.

I was like man that seems familiar, then I remembered the name of the email (phuhs04@gmail.com) of the douchebag that scammed me on this buy. Banning someone doesn't help the person who was scammed get a resolution, it just makes it more difficult for the scammer to communicate through the board should they actually choose to do so. In this case however, he just went and started some crap elsewhere on the board so now he's gone.

Yeah Chad it does, its just a dispute, then when you try to bring up to a claim level, it says they don't handle fraudelent sellers, they only deal deal with claims when the seller sent a damaged product, or never sent it at all when they said they did. The dispute don't do anything but send the seller an email, it doesn't get anything solved tho
