So i'm the one with the crazy blue impreza here that looks like a Laguna seca blue... I am trying to figure out what the real emblems are supposed to be on this car for 1994.

Anyone know? It didn't have anything on the trunk when I got the jdm stuff. But there was this wrx emblem on the hood.

Was that factory or did someone just slap it on the hood? It was kind of on there sideways on the left front most part of the hood.
If there is a trunk decal that this version is supposed to have I would like to get one because it will hide one of maacos screw ups.:rolleyes:

Bump and what version is this car supposed to be. All the version charts here confuse the hell out of me. Seems like everyone wants the newer impreza front ends and no one has info about the older stuff.

You would have a "GC8B." A "Version I" STi.

All of your parts would be "pre-facelift." I can't personally vouch for the first sticker being factory-made (I think it is, but I've never seen one on the JDM Imprezas I've observed up close), but the second decal is a factory Subaru trunk decal for the Impreza STi (although there are some companies that make replicas of them). The front grille "Pink I" is of a slightly different design than the current versions. Conversely, you can also look into the Dark Blue/Black "WRX I" type grilles, again, pre-facelift.

The STi also has the black fender emblems as well.

And, to top if off, if you want to go this route, get your hands on the "Type-RA" white/silver sticker for the right-hand strip under the tail-lamp assembly.

No not at all i'm not did u read the very first post? :)

Pretty sure its the first emblem sticker you posted that is the correct badging. All the car should be pre-facelift. Side skirts and door handles iirc should not be painted. Tail lights should be our standard red/amber tails, not the red/white tails.
