Here's my situation: Just got some used RE070 put on. Tires had some wear on the inside edges but nothing I was overly concerned about. I only planned to get summer/ a few hpde out of these tires. At 40mph the humming/pulsating noise is audible and gets louder as I go faster.

What I've done to troubleshoot:
-Noise doesn't seem to change around corners
-Noise does seem to decrease as I drive longer (to an extent)
-Tire pressures are within spec
-Lugs are all torqued properly
-When jacked up there is no play in any of the wheels in the 9/3 position, 12/6 position, or any plane I could try.

My gut is telling me the tires I purchased are crap or something didn't get balanced properly. Any other ideas of things I should check or ideas as to what it could be?

I do know the tires were stored for awhile. Is it possible the tires got out of shape while being stored?

did u balance the rims after u put the tires on.

I'm assuming so. I would think Mach V would've done that without asking but I can double check today. Also, there isn't any vibration in the wheel or pull. Leading me to believe alignment/balancing is good.

(Edit) Is it possible that a set of worn RE070 makes enough road noise that I think something is wrong compared to nearly new set of 960 A/S? I don't think it's a wheel bearing the noise literally started like the flip of a switch when these tires were put on.
