I just ordered one yesterday and received it today. I'm putting it on an 07 wrx this week and I will let you know how it goes...If you look closely, the kit in your link is doesn't come with a mounting bracket....there is another kit from "cxracing" on ebay that is $499 that has the bracket and coolant tank (i just decided I would fab my own with some steel sheets and a welder/drill)...if fabricating one doesn't work out then I found this also: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-05-WRX-STi-Impreza-FMIC-Bracket-Bumper-Support-Bar_W0QQitemZ250248962694QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3 286.m20.l1116. It might not fit direct with this core but I can drill and cut if necessary

So far what I can see:
1. the piping comes with an HKS SSQV fitting for BOV which works out b/c I have an ssqv
2. It looks like there is enough couplings/piping for the job (whether they are the correct sizes, I don't know).
3. it does look like there is a difference in pipe size between the hot/cold which is a plus because I thought it would be the same all the way through
4. the piping is in fact aluminum, which may or may not be a good thing....(lightweight but could be crushed). I plan on painting it all black tonight (keep it stealthy).

From my research of various front mounts on our cars, I expect that I will have to:
1. relocate (or replace) my coolant overflow
2. may need to remove fogs
3. will need to cut bumper and stock bumper bracket
4. need a short ram as the stock airbox will not fit (i have an aem cold air that I am going to modify).
5. fabricate mounting brackets (upper and lower)...last thing I want is this thing to fall out when i hit a pothole...
6. various hoses/clamps, nuts (myself included), bolts, lots of beer, zip ties.....oh yeah and duct tape....

:unamused: so the first attempt is failed. my friend stripped one of the 14mm nuts on the bumper beam and I wasn't in an area where I had electricity to run a dremel and cut it out!!! also couldn't find a 12pt 13mm deep socket to hammer on...

regardless, I was having some hood clearance issues with the charge pipe to the throttlebody.....I've only seen pictures of bugeye installs and it seems like the 06-07 2.5L engine is a lot taller in the engine bay than the 2.0L. The fuel lines really get in the way and I can't even try and get the hood closed if I run the pipe over them. I'm going to undo the brackets holding the fuel lines to the strut tower and intake manifold then try and run the pipe underneath them as it looks like there is enough room.

other than the hood clearence it looks like it should mount up the rest of the way once I get the bumper beam off...
