I drive a 99 2.5RS with approx: 100k (km). Car was running great then all of a sudden it would start up and stall. Is this because the enigine is not getting enough fuel, clogged injectors, bad gas? Fuel pump seems to be working, I also changed the fuel filter and plugs and wires are at about 60k. I pulled the cel code P0102 could the MAF sensor died on me? Any help would be appreciated.

P0102:Mass air flow sensor circuit low input

Either the MAF sensor's circuit (wires) is bad, or the sensor itself. Usually the sensor.
First inspect the harness, wires, connector. Look for corrosion, cut, short to ground.
Then, use a muti-meter to test the circuit and the sensor.
Do you have a repair menu?

99s were prone to MAF failures.

Unplug it and and if the car starts you pretty much found your problem.

I dont know about in Canada, but in the US we had a recall on them for 99s.

Replaced MAF car runs great thanks! I guess the original owner never got the MAF recalled, the new one has one less prong on it.
