I've got a pretty complete green 1998 Legacy Outback Wagon with 83K on the ticker. I'm pulling the motor for my own use, but the rest is up for grabs. The car started and had no CELs to indicate any problems.

As far as I know, it was stock. The hood does have a scoop. Interior is cloth.

are the front axles for sale?

The axles are for sale, let me check the condition of them.

What color are the side mirrors? PM me, very interested if they are heated and you can supply the wire loom from the mirrors to the doors.

The wheels are the six-spoke silver 15" Outback wheels. Three are in perfect shape, one is pretty bent up. The one is pretty unusable, but the other three have NO damage as far as I can tell. I'd need to clean them up to be 100% sure there are no scratches, but there's no curb rash.

Gidday Nick - I've just PMed fastenova about them, so he'll let you know if I drop out. But at this stage I'm still in.

Sorry for the confusion, the car is a Legacy Outback. The wheels are aluminum. I would sell them for fairly cheap plus shipping. I think they go for several hundred apiece new, and I would let them go for much much cheaper. PM me with offers if you need three or just one for a full-size spare!

And the tires that are on there are generic no-name tires, with not a ton of tread left. I'd include them for free or take them off to ship. I'll update tonight with the tire size.

I'm not sure about the condition of these yet. It will be a few days until I can check the condition of the springs, struts, and tophats. And because of the rear damage, I am not sure how I could tell if they're sagging. But I'd let them go for pretty cheap if you're interested and could wait a bit.

Did amievil take just the window switch trim, or the entire window switch setup? If you still have the actual driver's door window switches, I could use those - my driver's window switch is intermittent, sometimes doesn't want to come up.

One is slightly larger, with a fold-down tab to accomodate smaller cups. The cup holder is black.

I believe in only came on Outback models, but you could install it on any Legacy. I had one on my GT for quite a while. It doesn't fit with aftermarket headers without modification.

I would assume it works, but without a fob, I can't test it. I do know that when I reconnect a battery, the lights flash as they should.

If you buy it and it doesn't work, I'll refund your money. I don't want to sell anyone bad parts.

Does the hood have any imperfections ?From that second Insuranse Auto Action photo it appears that the right front corner of the hood has a curved corner from some sort of hit, that maybe it shouldnt have, although maybe its just that photo making it look that way. I am tempted to suggest that a few well placed hammer blows might get it to look straight.

Also all four wheels LOOK good (at least from a distance), although clearly the wagon got nailed pretty hard on the left rear corner.

I don't think I'm selling this, as the complete motor is going into my car... I'll see if I have one left over after the swap from the motor I'm replacing... But don't hold your breath! Sorry!

I can't find my blasted camera! I need to get some pics of the wheels too. If you can't find your camera, maybe you could pick up one of those disposable cameras ? You can get the film developed and digiprints emailed to you. Just a thought.

Being an Outback the tyres are likely to be P205/70R15 size. Too big for most of us.

Howzabout the driveshaft? I have to wonder if it would've gotten tweaked by the hard hit in the rear, but if it's good, I'll take it.

If you're concerned about that, I have an extra AT Driveshaft from my sedan when I put my 5 speed in. If you want it, it's yours. I never had any problems with it. It has 180K on it. Or, this one has 83K. You can have either (Or both!) for cheap. Shipping shouldn't be too bad. Let me know.

It is a regular plastic wheel. I'll post a picture when I can. The airbag is available but it is currently removed from the wheel. The clockspring and airbag connector have been sold already.

I'd say it's black or charcoal, but I'll let you judge for yourself in the pictures, I'll try to get some tomorrow.
