I've already worked out a deal, my pod is shipped out and the other guys clock is on its way.

Never received clock from Hock3yplay3r20, so if anyone in the Nebraska area wants an Autometer clock pod, get it from him, you have my permission, as I still consider it my property until I receive the agreed payment for it.

What you should do, is post copies of your communications with him (PMs and whatever else you may have) in the original thread, and also post what you have told me here. Then, report the thread using the "report post" button so we'll know to look it over again, at that point we will move it to the scammer section.

I hate to do this, because its such a small item, but I want everyone to look out for new members. I opened a trade thread for an autometer clock, looking to get a stock clock as a trade. Had a deal worked out through PMs with "hock3yplay3r20", he said he shipped his clock out through UPS, and I shipped my pod out. I never got the clock, and he responded that UPS couldn't find my address, now he won't respond at all. The trade thread is:

Man, I was hoping that this would be a warning before anyone else gets screwed by this guy. Someone should warn people on the other boards he posts on.

Well I was hesitant in that he had only one post and only a month old account... So I had him send the hood first and then I sent out my stuff.

Everything was good, it was just damaged in transit (I have to assume) and he said he contacted UPS and was getting some money for it... Then nothing.

yeah, according to him, UPS seems to be the ones that mess up...

I'm gonna bump this up because it has never been resolved, and I want everyone to be careful when they do business with this guy.

this is funny cus i contacted a moderator a long time ago cus he was the most shady sounding guy ever, then i got several pms from a user name (hock3yplay3r20) and (V8killinscooby). both just so happen to use the same pics on a desk in front of a computer. when i mentioned something to both user names on how they sounded shady they both stopped replying. then a couple months go by and i post up another forsale thread and they both respond at different times again with trades with the same old pics that they had said sold some time ago. interesting.

Well, it looks like he is trying to turn things around. He came through and worked up a fair trade.
