I found mine on ebay, paid about $450 shipped. I also swapped out the JDM HID reflector for USDM HID reflectors.

what is the difference between the JDM and USDM headlights other than the RHD reflectors?

I mean, why not just clear out the orange pieces from the USDM lights and call it a day?

^^ I cleared and painted mine over the weekend, and they look about the same!

All it took was an oven, some primer and some flat black paint.

JDM is JDM and it is real, clearing out the reflector is not. If you can get those headlights for 400-500 new than get them. Those things are cheap for that money...

why would you want jdm sti hids, when the usdm version comes in hid as well?

you would be spending rediculous amounts of money just to have an illegal headlight. because it is illegal and RHD, you will be blinding every bit of oncoming traffic.

doesnt make sense.

all you do is remove a few tiny screws, pop the headlights in the oven at 210 for 10 mines, and use a flathead to pry the headlight apart. its really easy

so is that just to crack the seal of the headlight? if so. do you just pull the yellow out or dose it turn clear with the heat? more info please.

once your in there itll be pretty obvious how to remove the yellow pieces, usually its like one or two screws and little tabs holding it in.

oh! and do one at a time, and when your done put them back in the oven after youve got them together and give them a final squeeze once theyre hot just to ensure its sealed up good.

the heat melts the glue that seals the lens onto the back of the housing. and yeah, yo just pull out the yellow. its easy to figure out once the lights are apart
