As I will be moving to Austin/SA area in the next month or so, I am looking to trade for or buy the factory intake from someone here locally. I will need all parts necessary to remove my injen intake and go back to original condition.

The main reason is that I will be living in an area that routinely has flooding issues and having my injen CAI dipped in the water is not a particularly good idea.

I would even consider a straight across trade to go back to stock.

My injen intake DOES have the AEM bypass valve on it so for light soaking it's not a big deal, I just am not willing to submerge it and try.

I am also intreasted, any major problems that you have had with the intake? How far down in the fender wall does it go? I'm in Littleton so i'd be up for this next weekend or so, just tell me where, i have full stock setup.

Chris

I'll trade you straight across if you'd like. I have all parts (ram'ish type vent, goes into silencer, goes into airbox with factory air filter).

Never have had any problems, not a single CEL with this injen intake. I bought the car used with the filter on it. About 8k on the filter since i bought the car (had it cleaned when i put on the AEM bypass)

The filter comes all the way down to almost the bottom of the bumper cover. I have had no issues with it in Colorado, the AEM bypass valve has NEVER had to kick in even when plowing through snow. The people who installed it removed one of the vent ducts and cut a hole near the filter to allow cold air from the ground to come up to the filter. I suppose it would work with the brake duct in place, but don't really know.

My injen instake is cut into two pieces to allow for the AEM bypass valve to be installed (Paragon did this, and actually did a really good job on this)

I've decided i'd be happy just to go back to purely stock instake and trade straight over - no cash exchange. Please understand the caveat here is that I am taking ALL your stock stuff, everything. Might even include brackets and stuff - not sure. However since I'll have the factory intake and stuff it shouldn't matter much.

Again the main reason for swapping is that I'll be living in a valley in Texas that regularly gets flooded (not necessarily too bad to drive, but definitely too bad to drive with an intake 4-5" from the ground)

No damage on the intake, no problems with it, a few finger prints, that's about it. I'll throw in a K&N recharge kit if i can find mine. Or I'll split the price of one with you (about 6-7$ each) and we can clean the filter and let it dry while we swap the intakes.
