Bump again. If I don't receive the PS3 by tonight or get a response, I'm filing a claim with Paypal and my credit card company.

G/L with PayPal...they are a joke when dealing with disputes revolving around credit card payments. They take about 14 days to find in your favor only to tell you there are no funds available to send back to you. I'm going through the same thing right now for a counterfeit Callaway driver I received.

CN: Skip PP, go directly through your CC company

Just dropped in price at E3.

And the 40 gig are 400 dollars(at this moment)

Dude that sucks, good luck. Skip paypal and get your money back from your CC.

Thanks for the concern guys. I've started the process with the credit card company and Paypal too, for the heck of it. I've got an address from someone who bought something from the seller and provided that to credit card company. I've also PM'd a mod to move the thread to Scammer Central. Hopefully, this gets resolved soon.

It did look too good to be true, but thought if I didn't jump on the deal...:sadbanana: I should've seen his join date too. I've bought online without any problems till now. I guess there's a first for everything...:unamused:

The price he sold it to you at is a result of contact I had with him. At the time, they were selling for roughly $600 BIN on eBay. Microsoft Live Search was offering 35% cash back, and eBay was throwing in another 10% discount on top of it. When I PM'd him this info (I bought one myself off of eBay for just over $375 all said and done), he dropped to the price you see....

Yes, eBay has had them for some time now. I will not purchase anything on there without a 1,000+ / nearly 100% feedback rating, and will not use anything other than a credit card I've had for years who has backed me up anytime I've had an issue arise on an internet transaction.

pntball, hopefully your credit card company will do the same for you!

Yes only make purchases through credit cards. They should back you up. Over 10 times now no problems.
