I got a dome light that has never worked since i bought my '98 Outback Sport in 2001. I checked the fuse under the dash and replaced the bulb and nothing works.
Anyone out there with similar issue or an idea.

Check the continuity on the switch. If you hook a multimeter to the switch contacts, does it get voltage at all when it is supposed to?

Do the map lights work? Does the door chime work?
